The intersection of Adams Avenue and North Talmadge Drive, in historic Kensington, is the setting for the third annual Art with Heart™ festival and art fair on May 17, 2008 to raise funds and awareness for Dress for Success San Diego (DFSSD), a non-profit organization that helps low-income women succeed in job interviews, gain employment and build careers.
Art with Heart offers an opportunity to shop the exhibits of local artists, enjoy food and wine, listen to live music, win raffle prizes and bid on silent auction items, all for a $10.00 admission fee to benefit DFSSD. Dozens of participating artists, representing a variety of mediums, have pledged 15 percent of event proceeds to DFSSD, and local organizations and businesses have donated food, wine, raffle prizes, silent auction items and entertainment.

Opportunity Drawing and Silent Auction
Enter to win fabulous prizes in the Art with Heart Opportunity Drawing! Your admission donation includes one ticket, and additional tickets are only $3.00 (two for $5.00). Every ticket sale benefits Dress for Success San Diego, and increases your chance to win special prizes to treat and pamper yourself, including certificates from fine restaurants, spas, hair salons, fitness clubs and specialty stores. You need not be present to win.
As you stroll through Art with Heart exhibits, stop by the Silent Auction tables for a chance to bid on artistic treasures and merchandise – including beautiful, original jewelry, accessories, pottery and silk.
